So it’s been a while..
Not that it bothers most of you. However some of you might be finding it relatively interesting. IF you do, leave a little comment!!
So since I last wrote, I got some new headshots! Or is it Head shots?
Check them out at my Facebook page. GO on give it a like!!!
Or here. Possibly this one if you are a lovely and exciting Casting Director.
I’m also trying out some shameless quick money making schemes and apparently amazon gives you stuff for advertising on your website! Hello easy christmas present buys!
Soooooo //ws-eu.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&OneJS=1&Operation=GetAdHtml&MarketPlace=GB&source=ac&ref=qf_sp_asin_til&ad_type=product_link&tracking_id=frazerpdblaxl-21&marketplace=amazon®ion=GB&placement=0020415559&asins=0020415559&linkId=HL2IQ62HK5GEFMMN&show_border=true&link_opens_in_new_window=true” target=”_blank”>Get this book! I’m going to post some other books you should get for voice coaching and helping with thinking about your voice as an actor.
Over and out for now!
I am proud to say I am a supporting ariste. I have no shame in doing the work. Poppycock to all those who are actors and say it’s not good for your career, well, perhaps there is a little truth for some. However check this out- Read me.
Today I played the role of a Skin Head in the 70’s! It Twas epic! Dressing up! Bit of acting, taking direction from the director. Just great stuff.
Ray Knight are the agency I work for. They have put me forward for a number of castings as well. They are lovely to work for and I have been very fortunate.
I would say that being an extra gives you a wonderful insight into the industry that many people including jobbing actors might not get a chance to see that often. I am not gloating, but it is often the case. You get to see the world behind the camera, which is great because you can see the expectations of the directors, producers and assistant directors. You get to see some amazing actors doing their thing. Most importantly you get to network with other actors who are in a similar position and they give you great advice. And sometimes not so great. Just keep your head on.
So, don’t knock it till you try it.
Huge love!

I work for the wonderful CREW, who for the last 2 years have provided me with some of the most fulfilling and life affirming work I have ever done.
To be able to see children learn good and important stuff, whilst being fun and silly is epic.
It is great live performance as you very much have an audience who know their minds.
It is a wonderful learning environment for improvisation.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to try out new characters and voices.
To learn and think bout what your body is doing.
To use props in inventive new ways.
You can never be bored doing this job. If it was good enough for Ben Kingsley for most of his actor career, then it’s good enough for me.
Getting behind the microphone.
I love it, officially, perhaps it’s the combination of doing it with a great friend and sound engineer and the fact that I don’t have to memorise my lines. My buddy who did it works with Swerve Concepts, who are epic! Check them out!
I think it went well and I hope that it contributes well to my Spotlight page and Casting Call Pro page. I have made sure my agents from Ray Knight and Imperium know about it and they seem to be pleased.
Go to my spotlight page and check them out: Frazer Blaxland.
I really like the Macbeth Monologue because it’s so open to many different interpretations. It allows such range or dynamics and vocality. I hope it comes across.
The other is a poem by Rudyard Kipling, which is a tad longer, however feels so warm and delightful to deliver. It is such a profound poem as well. I love it.
Today has been a bit dull, sent off some character photo’s to Pinewood for a video game. Looks like fun, I hope they can cope.
Spent quite a bit of time of Karmalicity, trying to get to 1000 points. I’m not quite sure what the points do. Hopefully it will boost my IMDB ranking. We shall see. I really do appreciate writing this blog as it allows me not to feel entirely useless. I hope that those out there, when, or if they get a chance to read it will be encouraged that sometimes things are just like this, if you are an actor or not. Hang in there!
Anybody else got any thoughts on resting days?
Huge love!

Good day everyone!
Happy Monday! Well another day searching, looking, promoting, getting this blog out there, no views yet. Some how I’ve got to figure this thing out. If you can help, please TWEET DM me! Or comment below. Thanks!
Have just created a new Facebook page today. Check out Frazer Blaxland! Again…man, is this what a guys gotta do to get some followers around here? Very strange, surely I just want to be known as a good actor? However, sadly that’s not how this industry works is it? There has got to be a lot of shameless self promotion. However there are ways and ways of going about it. Here’s my approach:
Well there you go, I’ve exhausted all my options, oh wait, no I haven’t, I’m stopping before you get bored and read somebody else’s blog. DON’T DO IT!
Moving on.
Doing some new head shots soon with Clair Newman-Williams. Very, very approachable and lovely! I think it’s going to be a great day and can’t wait, I wish I had booked it sooner, just want to get those bad boys out there as soon as possible.
Anyway, that’s all from me today.
Keep it secret, keep it safe! Oh man I wish someone had told me that about my credit card number!
Big love!

Hello, first time for a blog for everyone I guess.
I thought it would be important to start writing about my experiences as a performer. Hoping it will get me into a good discipline of writing more and hopefully better. This in turn may help me to stay focused on the task at hand, which is of course to be the best actor in the world, or at least one of them.
‘You must be an arrogant attention seeking tool.’ Is that something you just thought, or similar to that? Probably not, because y’all so nice! However I probably thought that whenever someone else said that. I want to be the best actor because I simply want to strive for excellence, how I measure, or how anyone measures this is probably impossible and completely subjective, so perhaps I should change my desire to more of; I want to be a great actor, who gives generously of himself to other performers, to be wise with my time, to encourage other actors, to entertain my audience and not to compromise or give up on the task in hand.
I hope that this blog can encourage and in some small way equip other aspiring actors.
Please message me and follow me: @frazerpdblaxland on twitter.
So a little snippet of my days activities, I pretty much spent the whole day looking at IMDB pro and investigating films in development and then emailed the director or casting to director to see if they may consider me. I also discovered that you can up your startmeter by going here: https://www.karmalicity.com
I hope you enjoyed this first brief blog!
Hang in there folks!
Huge love,
